Through advocacy, dialogue, and research, CfCA engages with authorities, monitors budget allocations, and seeks to increase investment in culture and creative sectors. CfCA aims to align with the African Union Summit’s call for at least 1% of national budgets to support arts, culture, and heritage by 2030.

Muzikawi is dedicated to promoting Ethiopian music globally. With offices in Addis Ababa and Stockholm, Muzikawi serves as a record label, music publisher, studio, artist management, and event organiser. The team ensures fair practices and supports the rights of Ethiopian creatives.
Selam Ethiopia website
Selam Ethiopia is a non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming Ethiopia through culture. It promotes cultural growth and empowerment, organizes festivals, and runs projects like Muzikawi to support local talent and foster peace and democracy. The organization advocates for artistic freedom, human rights, and institutional strengthening across Ethiopia, with a focus on women, youth, and people with disabilities.
Addis Jazz Festival website
The Addis Jazz Festival (AJF) is the flagship event for Muzikawi, Ethiopia’s top music and event production company. The festival, the only one of its kind in East Africa, features established musicians as well as up-and-coming performers and fresh work from local and international artists.
